Mental illness often affects individuals during their young adulthood and as a result educational aspirations are often left unachieved by those afflicted. Here at the Carriage House we believe that everyone is entitled to an equal chance at receiving an education. The Carriage House strives to offer support to members who desire to further their educational goals.
The Carriage House offers assistance to individuals pursuing all levels of education by helping members obtain their GED, enroll in college or graduate school, or simply learn for personal enrichment. In our education center, members have access to instructional resources and one-on-one tutoring. We also utilize and link members to resources in the community that can assist them in their scholastic pursuits. Both members and staff contribute their skills and talents by helping members achieve their educational goals.
